About me :

Welcome all,

My name is Lindsey, I am a spinner, knitter, and wool gatherer who lives just outside of Vancouver, BC in a sweet riverside town. Canoe rides, farmers markets, and the ocean are all in reach.

I began spinning in 2009 when I received a wheel from my great aunt after joining a fibre arts guild, where the members continuously inspired me with their projects and encouraged me to delve even deeper into this craft.

My studio is home based which means wool basically lives in all four corners of our small apartment. I hope one day to have a studio of my own (even a shed would do!)

About the fibre :

Sourced from hand dyers and small farms around North America (and in some cases around the globe) my aim has been to curate fibre blends that are novel and inspiring for the hands and heart.

Using a drum carder has allowed me to create yarns that are deeply heathered with tweedy slubs for added dimension and character. My favourite way to meld colours creates an atmospheric effect which calms brighter colours by adding in neutral tones -which creates a fabric that is highly wearable and easy to style.

My commitments :

There is so much to explore in the world of wool. I aim to bring you fibres that are sourced responsibly while supporting the healthy growth of this industry, respecting animals, artists, and farmers alike.

All of my production, marketing, shipping and packaging is done by me so that I can ensure high quality materials are used in each step.

My packaging and shipping materials are 100% biodegradable using post consumer waste paper products sourced from North American producers.

Thank you friends! If you ever want to chat fibre or anything really, I’m over on instagram (not a super frequent user but I like the connection when I get a moment to check it)
